Overview
The Commissioners Street Transfer Station Concrete Stack Rehabilitation project restored the structural integrity and appearance of one of Toronto’s most recognizable industrial landmarks. The work included comprehensive interior and exterior concrete rehabilitation and the installation of a new aviation lighting system to replace aging infrastructure. Due to the stack’s significant height, exposure to severe weather conditions near Lake Ontario, and heritage significance, the project required specialized restoration techniques to ensure its long-term durability and continued safe operation.
