Trent University
Location

Overview
The Faryon Bridge Pedestrian Coating Repairs project at Trent University focused on restoring the durability, safety and long-term performance of the pedestrian bridge connecting the east and west sides of the Peterborough campus. The work included localized repairs to the existing Conipur II deck coating system, isolated concrete rehabilitation and the implementation of temporary staging and hoarding to safely complete the work while maintaining campus operations.
Our Approach
Our team carefully planned the repairs to protect the bridge's structural components, including its post-tensioned elements, while minimizing disruption to students, faculty and visitors. Through controlled work sequencing, effective site safety measures and high-quality concrete and coating repairs, we restored the bridge deck's waterproofing and wearing surface, improving pedestrian safety and extending the service life of this important campus connection.
