Client

Metrolinx

Location

Aurora Go Station 121 Wellington St E, Aurora

Overview

The Aurora GO Station Rehabilitation project focused on preserving and enhancing the exterior of the historic station building at 121 Wellington Street East, Aurora. The scope of work included the preparation and painting of the existing exterior wood cladding, trim, and decorative architectural elements, along with localized emergency wood repairs to restore deteriorated areas and ensure the long-term protection and appearance of the building.

Our Approach

Our approach emphasized preserving the station’s historic character while delivering durable, high-quality restoration work. We carefully completed localized wood repairs before preparing all exterior surfaces for painting, ensuring proper adhesion and a long-lasting finish. Throughout the project, we maintained strict quality control and safety measures while minimizing disruption to station operations and protecting the integrity of the heritage features.
