Overview
The Canadian Niagara Power Generating Station Landscape and Civil Construction project involved upgrading the site's exterior infrastructure through a combination of landscape, civil, mechanical and electrical works. The scope included granular and subbase preparation, paver and armour stone installation, concrete pads and curbs, drainage improvements, underground electrical conduit and lighting, as well as glycol piping installation. Throughout the project, unforeseen underground utility conflicts were successfully managed to maintain safety and project continuity.
Our Approach
Our team delivered the work through careful planning, phased construction and proactive coordination with utility providers to address undocumented underground services. When existing utility lines were encountered, emergency repairs and utility locates were immediately coordinated to protect workers, the public and critical infrastructure. By maintaining strict safety controls and effective communication with all stakeholders, we completed the project while minimizing disruptions and ensuring a high-quality finished landscape and civil installation.
